Water Quality Testing Facility, Denver, CO
GPR Planners was retained to perform program validation, planning and laboratory design through contract documents for the U.S. Geological Survey's National Water Quality Laboratory facility. The USGS/NWQL fulfills the analytical requirements of the Water Resources Division by analyzing environmental samples for inorganic, organic and radiochemical constituents. To meet established quality objectives and to support water-quality investigations, the lab provides project planning and data interpretation assistance. The laboratory also develops new analytical methods and sample collection procedures as needed by the Division.
