Moore Hall Psychology Building, East Hanover, NH
GPR was retained by Dartmouth College to provide laboratory programming, planning and design for the new 78,000 sf Moore Hall Psychology Building. The four-story facility houses state-of-the-art Psychology research laboratories, laboratory support and offices, and a new animal facility. In addition to research space there is two teaching laboratories, both wet space, and a 300-seat auditorium. The laboratory portion of the facility is based on a repetitive module of 10.5' x 31', and is designed to be subdivided to provide multiple room suites characteristic of both wet and dry psychology research. The new Moore Hall Psychology Building consolidates the Psychology department space into a single facility, which was formerly fragmented between two buildings on campus.
