David MateerPrincipal David Mateer is a principal for GPR Planners Collaborative, Inc. His expertise involves the planning and design of academic/institutional laboratories and animal facilities. As a former associate of a major architectural design firm in New York, Mr. Mateer brings over 14 years of experience in coordination and supervision of design development and construction documents. His assignments include existing facilities analysis, design concepts, and macro- and micro-level development of laboratory and animal facilities. Mr. Mateer holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the Pratt Institute in New York. Mr. Mateer's large, scale academic projects include: University of Colorado Health Sciences Research Complex I, Denver, CO...master planning of a new 217 acre, 3.4 million GSF health sciences campus relocation to the former Fitzsimons Air Force Base site and initial programming of a 600,000 GSF/390,160 NSF biomedical research building.
