Jacobs Consultancy (formerly known as GPR Planners Collaborative, Inc.), is a nationally recognized consulting firm specializing in the programming, planning, and design of research and instructional laboratories. Jacobs Consultancy, the Laboratory Planning Practice of Jacobs Engineering Group Inc, has continued to grow steadily since 1978 from its offices in New York, California and New Jersey, with professionals who possess diverse backgrounds in architecture, planning, and science.

Jacobs Consultancy has planned and designed over 500 laboratory facilities for institutional, government and corporate clientele. Our philosophy is to approach each project with the brightest thinking from a multitude of diverse perspectives. Participation is the key to our process. We understand the scope, function and relationships of each project and implement those ideas into the design of a laboratory.
